why do we have to pay first to gain access on data entry?

I was really interested to join on this data entry but then I felt skeptical when I saw at the bottom that I have to pay certain amount to them so they can give me an access. Data entry workers, did you pay first? how much did you earn on your first day? can you share? thanks?

im the one who bought this kind of product once, i have compile that same product and put it in my site for free. what i mean is that those website does not provide work, they will just tell you how you can earn by using affiliate marketing, survey etc. the information that they provide are all freely available on the net. do not buy any thing from then, do not even give your mail address, just avoid those site, i can not say those are scum but they will not provide you any job, most of the program for earning money are free to join.

Been scammed, eh?? That's what I thought. They just sell you some informations which you can get for free. And then they add the disclaimer saying 'they don't guarantee any earnings'

I don't join sites which ask for payment, unless my friends has done it and proven it and recommended it to me. There are lots of free information on the internet and I'd rather not take the risk of being scammed.

That's how I feel on that Odesk too but whenever I am thinking of it how can I fit it in my time schedule. as time is really needed to complete tasks there

I did some tests which they said will help you, which I am pleased to say, passed all of them including the ODesk Readiness Test. I bid on one task, and it was rejected saying I don't have experience. So I stopped logging on. How can I gain experience if I am going to be rejected for not having experience?? Sure I understand you have to persevere and try and try to succeed. I just don't have enough patience or time for things like that. I am not trying to trash it here, I am just saying it is not suitable for me. May be if I have more time, I would log in there again and try to bid on some tasks.

the site'll either be charging you for outdated/useless information &/or links that you could've found for for free or if there is an actual job it'll turn out to be the internet equivalent of those 'envelope stuffing'/card in shop windows' scams where the 'job'money earning scheme ended up being 'place identical adverts and charge people for exactly the same thing...'
