Which style of riding do you like the best?

Do you ride English, Western or both? I grew up riding English but the last 10 years I've ridden Western also. I enjoy both, but I think I prefer Western, for trails at least, because it's more relaxed. I do enjoy jumping though. I think in the future I need to buy a horse for each :)

English, I've tried a Western saddle ones and I really hated it. But then I also hate jumping saddles and prefer old Stübben dressage saddles that are more like flat-sits than dressage saddles. I don't like the newer Stübben saddles, it feels a bit like I'm caught in them. I've done two longer riding holidays in the Austrian alps, they used old German and Austrian military saddles. They were great, comfortable to sit in and fit the horses really well, but it was a bit difficult to get the blankets under the saddles right the first time. I have three saddles now, two dressage and one for jumping. I don't jump very much, but so I use the saddle for jumping only when if I'm taking the horse for some crazy gallops along the river. It's not comfortable to sit in it but it's easier to stand in the stirrups. Only problem is that it's Wintec (plastic) so the stirrup straps squeak :-)
