What if...

Just came up to this weird idea. What if the sign up process here is invitation-only? Means that in order to join, a member must invite the person who wants to join by sending his/her referral link. I know some users are familiar with this system as used by a gift site or similar to that. If it happens, a forced referral system will be implemented. It also gives users the opportunity to get more referrals and a higher chance of having active downline earnings (hope so ) as some users want to have referrals to help them in their earnings. What would be your opinion for this? Have a nice day!

Wow,that would be a dream come true as far as I am concerned.Unfortunately,I don't even have a single referral here at My Lot.Every penny I have earned here is a result of my own hard work. The system you are talking about would mean assured earnings for everyone and it would only be fair. But it would mean a loss for My Lot because a lot more people would reach their payout level a lot sooner. There are so many who quit before reaching the $10 level and there are some like me who just don't find enough time to be active here. They would all be benefited by this system. So,guys, anybody planning on taking this up with My Lot?

Nice to know that you earn by your own effort. Actually, you can get referrals by inviting other people to join under you, the next problem would be on how to keep them active. You have to encourage them and guide them on how to earn well. Anyway, the concept of having that system here has also its disadvantages as other users had mentioned and I also agree with them. I put up this topic to have something to discuss by letting others share their opinions regarding the subject. I got the concept from other users who really wants to get referrals and from a site with that kind of system. Thanks for sharing.

i assume you sortof mean like lockerz? , to be honest i think this site would not benifit from this, if this happened then ys every one would have a referal from a friend/family ect. but what if some one stumbles accross the site in a search engine and randomly finds that they can not sign up, surly them more people would be turned away?

Yes, it was lockerz. I agree that it will be hard for people to join here if the system got changed into invitation-only. The system here was fine because anyone can join and even other family members can still use the same computer to participate in here. Anyway, that idea was far from what I want, I came up with it because some users here wants to get more referrals and a forced referral system will be in favor for them. Welcome to myLot, you can find lots of interesting discussions here and you can share information with others and you can also learn from them. Enjoy your stay here!

In addition some myLotters may resort to spamming if this is implemented. So far I have received many invitations from members of invitation only sites. The problem is I do not know who they are. It is not nice getting multiple invitations from the same site. There are Internet surfers who found new websites without the help of any current members of those sites. If they want to join these sites they will have to look for referrers. Bo. I am one of those who dislike enforced referral system. So far my reaction has ben staying away from these sites.

I agree with you. In fact, the idea that I posted above was not my own concept, it was formed by some users who are desperate in looking for referrals, I posted this topic to have something to discuss and to see who are against with it. Nice to see that most of the responses mentioned that they do not agree with the subject above. On the issue of spamming, it can't be avoided but it could be minimized.
