Another fiesta or feast in the philippines it's everywhere and people travel miles and miles just to get to a place and eat a dinner or lunch that's probably no even going to compensate for the travel and the hassle of going to the place holding the fiesta only in the philippines folks

hi again Chipesterkhan I guess its just custom is it not and maybe just going somewhere. I have read that the Philipines are lovely and tropical so you have nice warm weather I imagine. I have never been to your country so mylotting at least allows me to learn a little about your land and customs. we in the US get sort of insulated against other countries unless we are fortunate enough to have adequate money to travel aboard and visit other lands. Happy fiestaing .or is there such a word? I am always making up words according to my son. lol

it's because during fiestas, we can be with our family, relatives or friends while doing what we filipinos love- eating.

A meal wouldn't really compensate for the travel and the trouble of going to fiesta to fiesta but I think we Filipinos do this because of the experience. We love to seize happy moments so as much as possible we want to be in every happy events and places. Having to taste the local delicacy of the town is a bonus for me
