Could not open one more account in mylot

hi mylot friends,
i wish to add my wife in mylot family,two days back i have tried to register with mylot,but i tried thrice to register with her name with separate email address,but i could not create an account in mylot,what is the reason,some days back also one of my friend tried to open an account with mylot from my computer,then also he could not register with mylot,what is wrong with this,let me know how to open another account in mylot?

You have to be very careful to sign up one more account by the same IP address. I think Mylot prohibits it. If you really want to sign up a new account, I suggest you to sign out your old one at first. Then reboot the router/modem and therefore your IP address will be different. I think you can sign up a new account after that. However, I guess both of you can't be in Mylot at the same time. I am not so sure about it, perhaps you can ask Mylot admin.

,i have followed everything written in the answer,but i do not know why it was not opened/created an account with my wife's name,once i have tried to open a seperate account of my friend,from my computer that time also i could not open it,let me try once again ,have a nice day

hi friend, how are you, you can easily introduce your wife in mylot, depend on some mistake i think you couldn't open the account, make sure, you have miss something else. have a nice day.

Well thats interesting. The first thought that came to mind was that maybe it had something to do with the same IP address being used but after reading through other answers I have learnt it is not so. It is good to see an admin rep chipping in to help guide you/us to the correct answer.
Thanks for posting this and helping me to learn something else about mylot.

I have no problems at login Mylot on the same computer. My cousin and my friends often logged Mylot, using my computer. They have even become my referral. Or maybe you can try to arrange in the preferences, then choose Accounts affiliation. Then you can organize and include, who will Mylot login, using your computer.

I don't think it is not an issue..because my lot allows having more than one account per household ..The only necessity is that we need to have individual email id, PayPal id ...and in addition , we need to register the user names of the other members in our account page, if we are about to share our computer...(not IP address)..If I am correct and if the terms have not been changed in the past 6-7 months, we can have more than one account per household..But I am not sure..I am not active here for about 6-7 months as I don;t have much time to spend here...

thanks for the response,my wife is having paypal and alertpay account since long time,but there is no transactions in it,she is have separate id also in yahoomail,i too have tried to open the new account with my link only,i will try once this week what happened,have a nice day

Oh :(. It is most likely due to the fact you have tried to make a new account with the same IP Address. This you cannot change. You can download an IP Changer or go to your local library with intertnet access and sign up from there. Best of wishes.

There's no need for any of this. We allow multiple family members to be myLot members and we allow them to sign up from shared computers. The IP address isn't the problem.

I think you can open more than one account on this website.. but for this you need different-2 information and user name .. because if your IP been checked then your account may blocked by mylot admin..
