how do i know whether my new discussions is similar to others?

you can use the search function of my lot and choose the discussion tab to search similar discussion via tag, mylot by the way gives bonuses/rewards while using the search engine.

this was my problem before and it is really necessary to check on our community wall if their is similar discussion before you post, and the answer is simple, just type the subject of you discussion to our search bar and you'll find similar topic related to the subject..happy to help, have a nice day!

Use the Search facility to search Discussions for one or two key words that are relevant to the topic. You can search on 'tags' or on 'full text'. The best way to learn how it works is to use it.
It's worth pointing out that, not only do you stand a chance of earning a few cents (at random) from the search but, if you find a discussion that you can respond to, you can earn at least as much for your response as you would for starting your own discussion, no matter how old the discussion is.
