We have such a wide variety of people. We have so many billionaires and millionaires..even in our own countries. We have those with 10 cars 3 houses, so many swimming pools and we have those who cannot put enough food on their table for the day. We have corporations that pull in millions and millions of dollars. We have those who can't even go to the places that have more affordable prices as they don't have transportation Are we a really sharing society or are we are me me me society.. Do you think there would be no poverty if those who have more then they need a million times over started to share? I tried to see if anyone would give me a car.. just to see. and the responses I got was: "we don't give to individuals" We are so embalanced.. Wouldn't the world be better if every one really looked after one's neighbor? Are we selfish by nature or are we inwardly giving? IS it asking too much for people to share? Too many people claim: "it's no for me to help" "they are that way because they are lazy" "they deserve to be poor" "let the government help them" etc etc. What is the answer to the world's poverty?

Hi I don't see that world poverty will ever be solved, no matter how many people help or do not help. There are a lot of rich people and celebrities that do actually raise money for the poor and disadvantaged . I agree with you totally that we should look after our neighbors. I have paid a friends electricity bill on a few occassions as she was broke ,and I am a battler as well, so a little can go a long way and I think we can all dig deep.

I know it will never be solved; but how come is it that we have such a chasm that exists between the very poor and the very rich.. The rich only want to help businesses that will snap a picture of them handing a check ..

well i think poverty wont be eradicate even though presidents tell them that they will. as long as there people who are lazy enough and those people, is already contented with their life, and rich people who manipulates poor people. thre will still be poverty. :) happy lotting:)

You are so right. There are more hard working poor then rich. The most generous tend to be the ones who have so little.
