Article writers, where do you get your topic ideas?

I find the earnings gained from the PTC sites are very low and to much time is spent clicking ads for such a low gain. I decided that I should write reviews and have joined some sites, such as reviewstream, Article income, xomba and so forth. But I have one problem, I don't know what to write about. I am not an expert at anything and it seems I'm lacking the ability to come up with valid topics. Are there any of you who write articles? What do you write about and where do you get your ideas? Who do you write for?

Actually I got all my ideas here in mylot, just look around and read everybody's comment, you might come up with a good topic to write on. You have everything you need in this community, just do a little research and be familiar with your topic.

I write articles based on keywords provided. If ever you plan to go to reviewstream.com, then you will have to really write based on the product you have used. You start with an idea then just expound on it. You may have rejected reviews at first but just keep on improving it.

Writing is a great way to make a living, take it from someone who is taking a course to become a freelance writer. I have to say that most of my inspiration comes from every day things. I get a lot from my family and friends, and also from my pets believe it or not. Sometimes just browsing on the internet is enough to give me a few ideas about what I would like to write about. The important thing that you need to know is writing format. A lot of people think that you can just get a pen and some paper and write away. While that might be true, the people that are serious about writing, won't read your stuff unless you use the right format. There are plenty of sites on the internet that are dedicated to teaching the proper writing methods and a quick search will give you all the information that you need. I have found that there are a lot of sites that want you to bid for projects though so choose your sites carefully. I know that there are a lot of people out there looking for some interesting short stories and all it takes is a little hard work and some time. Hope that helps and I wish you the best of luck in your writing. Happy mylotting.

well you can actually write about just about anything. you can write about any of your interests or even just whatever comes to your head. sometimes that means that you need to have some peace and quiet and need to be focused on what you are writing. remember that you can do anything that you set your mind to.

I write for Helium, Gather, and Associated Content. Helium is the easiest for me because they come up with the titles and topics of what you should write about. Usually I tend to write about travel, art, and books. My best selling articles are those that deal with workplace issues: how to get along with a difficult boss, how to ask for a raise, and so on. Topics like personal finance, exercise, and technology do really well. Focus on what you like to read about, and go from there. Good luck with your writing!

I write about my passion, scuba diving since i am fairly knowledgeable about the subject and the weird and wonderful critters i encounter. Also when surfing internet and i come across some news or article i can relate to and which i think have wide public interest,i research a little and add in my opinion in Xomba,Bukisa, triond. Sometimes i just copy a long article, then reedit it adding my own take and rearranging then submit.
