Now the linux distros are providing beautiful linux editions and they are very user frendly . Comparing to windows the linux is growing very fast its user interface is very good . But the amazing fact is that the peoples are sill using windows for their computational needs . Why is this happening . These peoples are saying that windows is very user friendly is linux is not so . But as a complete linux user i can certainly say that linux is far better that windows . The peoples saying this are frequently formatting and reinstalling their windows due to the attack of virus . why can't they prefer linux . I thing these peoples are not ready to learn more things and also they don't have the evaluation power. what is your opinion

Many users try out linux distros and it's not far the time when our culture will be enough to say "I can live without Win". I think this time will come! Windows is not the primary OS and not the only one... it's just user friendly for Desktop OS. HPCS uses unix based distros on more than 90% of machines!

As I concern we should work with both windows and linux, some particular task is easy to work with linux others easy to work in windows.Graphics supports are more for windows than linux.Linux is less support for graphics card.Video editing, animation softwares etc are only work in windows. It can work with linux system crashes occures

The majority of computer users are running Windows because this is the operating system that has been supplied with new computers for many years. A person buys their first computer and gradually becomes more familiar, so they are reluctant to change from what they have got used to. There is also the issue of Linux not being user friendly in the past, and despite the level of user friendly GUI many people are unaware of how easy Linux can be. Even the people who try Linux often become concerned when they discover that command line is still required for numerous activities.

Hello tony, I didn't like linux that much because i don't have a choice. Windows kept me vulernable to a lot of viruses so it had be changed to linux and kept me from playing games that are actually windows compatible. but since the installation of Linux, i haven't had any virus in months. for now, am not changing back to windows, probably gamers should make games compatible to linux.

windows is still holding on ,because many mnc's cant afford to reinstall their oses ,which involves hefty sum of money, and also loass of time, specifically i find nothing wrong in linux ,infact it's way better than windows
