well, i don't think the age of the teacher matters. i have teachers young and old. its the way they can relate to the kids and the teaching style. if they can get the kids to learn, then they're good teachers.

I have heard so many things in my area about younger teachers having a problem with keeping thier priorities straight...especially men. I feel that a teacher should be old enough to be your parent...that way there's no temptation. BUT who knows, maybe there still would be. I'm on the fence...

I think a teacher should be older as this may help, cos he may have some wisdoms in dealing with the students and so that he can put them through tough and hard times, also a teacher ought to older as this may earn some level of respect from the students.

with all the trouble that young female teacher are getting into with their male students I believe that they should be at least 10 years older than their students. With male teachers I don't think age would make any differanc, an older male teacher could be just as attracted to a young student as a younger one.
