Mylot-great but not perfect...

I love mylot but the thing that's bothering me is we don't get notifications all the time and sometimes we get them late. It's hard to keep track and reply to everyone if it's a little older discussion and you just don't get notified. Wouldn't it be great if it worked like it does at facebook where you can add a picture and one year later someone will still comment on it and you'll see he did. On the other side if you start 1000 discussions and everyone would write something you'd have 1000 notifications...but now discussions get forgotten and if someone wrote something important you don't even know it

Do you have your notifiers set to 'on' so that you know when new responses are posted on your started discussions?
Did you know that 12 hours ago admin Alice asked you a question?

Ah you'll reach 200 in no time i didn't even realize i need 200 to start using them and when i did want to use them i was already at 300. Yes editing posts would be a great thing to do when you write errors but we'll just have to be carefull. You can report your discussion with "!" sign and write in the box that you made a mistake and than when it gets deleted you post the corrected one. We all make mistakes from time to time

I agree that we need more notifiers concerning comments 
I do check back on my own discussions but on those where I just comment on a response left by another user, it is difficult to keep track of them.
Maybe we should stop creating new discussions for a certain period so that we can all catch up on the previous ones?

I agree. I get all these notifications that people have responded to my discussion, but no notifications that someone has commented on them. It's irritating because I have to keep looking back into my discussion thread to check if anyone added a comment to someone's response. It's not that big of a deal, and I'll deal with it, but it surely can be irritating sometimes.

@Alice_in_weblan. I agree with you. It is a nice feeling when you find a response to your discussion that you can respond to. It makes your question, well, a discussion. Which is what myLot wants us to do and will pay us for. Yippee!

well what i would like to have an nottfication if somebody replied to my reply. Sometimes i find it hard to know if someone replied to it.

go to my lot and use the tabs if you do not get all this in email notifications,it is easy enough as they are all there.

I have noticed the same thing about the notifications. In my situation, I have noticed, that on the day we get paid, I now, don't receive a notification of it. Now, it isn't a big deal that I don't, but why it stopped, I don't know. I don't know if others are having the same problem or not. I just go to my paypal to see what I did get and then I can put it in my bank account. Anyway, I get notifications, on those that have commented back to my responses, and I do get the notifications I don't want, and that is that my response was deleted. I can do without those. 
I have found mylot to be very good in keeping up with everything, and sure they aren't perfect, but close enough. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Nobody is perfect,
Everyone just tries to get successful,

that is something i really wish we can have, the notifiers for the comments if we are the one who hosted the discussion or when someone commented to our comments under other members responses. this works only if we are the responder and it works well. but if we are just commenting to one, we have no idea if someone commented after us.
