Switzerland win the match against Spain 1:0 and break their 12 match winning streak. Also Spain had won 27 matches out its last 28 International matches. Their only defeat in the last 48 match was against USA in FIFA confederations cup. They have won there last 19 matches against an European opposition. Congrats Switzerland u have broken the shackles.

No doubt, Spain has been stunned by the result. Swiss have caused the biggest upset of this World Cup till date by beating Spain. I think Ottmar Hitzfeld the old wily fox pulled one over his old rival Del Bosque. Swiss performance was a perfect defensive display of how to stop a superior team from playing. The goalkeeper was also in inspired form, whereas against the run of play Spain first conceded. They nearly conceded again as the Swiss hit the post!!
