What can be done if certificates are lost?

Usually you contact the board that offered the exam in the first place. You would have to pay a fee to get the certificates re-printed and mailed, but you should be able to get hold of them. If you contact the college/university where he took his diploma, you may be able to find out which exam body was in charge of that particular qualification.

I think he has to file a report in the police station, next apply for issue of duplicate certificates, but it may take long time and he may have to run to them several times, this is India you know things better.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor

moumitabagchi I believe he can go to the insitution where he got the degrees and diplomas and they will have records yet so they can look them up; and reissue him new certificates. Also if push comes to shove he may be able to use his experience to get those same diplomas by applying to the same institutions.At least I would call the institution and tell them his problems and see what help they can offer.With his experience that should count hugely. good lu ck and God bless.

Hi moumitabagchi! The best place to go to is where he got them. It may not be easy because he needs to prove things and whether they have enough evidence and the record to reissue another. You might need a statement from the police here. But it's worth the effort. Good luck.

Nothing can be done if once u have lost your certificates there only one thing go to your school principal and talk to her about it i thik she can help u you should try your certificates are important its your honour u have shopwn i nthat....
