I would clean them the old fashioned way, scrubbing them with soap or detergent solution. The Darker colours would wash easier while the lighter colours seem to be more difficult. While some recommend using the washing machine, over usage caused the glue to come off. As a non conventional type of cleaning I did read somewhere that non gel type toothpaste helps. Maybe you can try that. Otherwise the shoe laundry is a safe bet. It's the rainy season though, so i gues you may need to clean them every now and then.

I have to abort wearing my favorite pair of sneakers during rains. That's one thing bugging me! Mine is an international brand bought from abroad so I guess they are made to be washed in washing machine.

hi mimipi Most of the sneakers I see in our American stores are
washable so you just plop them in the washer then in the drye but
not on high heat but on mod to low heat. good luck and God bless.

Thanks Hatley. I guess that would work fine since it was bought from abroad.

I think, I should try doing that first and if it doesn't work will try the washing thing. Mine is light pink and white so even the little of the dirt is visible.

I think that's the way most of you do it there and it's sounds great. Thanks for telling me.

That's actually a great idea. I think, I will do that. Sponge cleaning sounds good as well.
