what is your pet peeve about ebay? one of my peeves is that some sellers don't give a proper description of the item that they are selling. another one is that they charge a penny for the selling price but $43.00 for shipping! Where are they shipping it from? the moon? seriously!

I hate that one. People forget to look at the shipping and then they're stuck. I hate reserves also. Why not just start the darn auction at the minimum price that you will accept so that people won't waste their time bidding on something that's out of their price range?

Oh yes, it is the shipping costs that annoy me the most. It can be ridiculous when I buy something light like a photograph but the charges are 5 times what it really costs. Otherwise I am very happy with eBay overall.

I agree with one of yours. That is the shipping. I think that I'd rather pay a fair price for both the cost of the item that I am buying and also for the shipping of the item than to pay what appears to be so little money for the actual item and then pay the actual cost of the item and then some in the shipping fees that they are charging for the item. That is the main thing that bothers me about Ebay and is one of the reasons that I haven't used them for quite some time now.

It's all a gimic. They often get people with the low bids and the outrageous shipping. It is another case of buyer beware.
My biggest pet peeve about ebay is the seller not shipping promptly. I know that my payment clears the bank the next morning once it has been paid through paypal. Why does it take them 3-5 business days to ship the item out? Did they not have it in stock when they originally listed it?
