Master Chef and your best dish

Just wondering how many people here are fans of Chef Gordan Ramsey and of his shows? I myself love his shows even though there is not a lot of cooking information being given over, no recipe tips which would be nice for the end of the show. I am however mega excited for his series coming up called Master Chef where regular people enter and can stand a chance of becoming a master chef. What would you say is your specialty dish you just love to cook for friends, family and guests?

I'm a huge fan of Gordon Ramsey's! Lately I've really been getting caught up in his show "Kitchen Nightmares". The arrogance of some of these so-called "chefs" amazes me. Especially when their kitchens are filthy and they can't run it well. This is the first I've heard of his new show, Master Chef. I'm in Argentina and we usually get things a little later here. I think it'll be awesome to see how he handles "regular" people. Myself???? I love to cook. Over the past couple of years I've really gotten the hang of which spice goes with which spice and things like that. I make a pretty mean Italian lasagna, can be quite creative with quesadillas and my family particularly loves the way I make empanadas. These last are meat, chicken, veggie or ham & cheese stuffed pastries. They are one of the accepted national dishes here in Argentina but whenever you buy them outside the home, they're never quite as good.

I too love Gordon Ramsey's shows. I hope he is not as hard on the regular people as he is the chefs on He**'s Kitchen. I have many things I am very proud of. I make awesome zucchini bread, but that is technically baking not cooking. I make really good homemade gravy, I make good butter chicken, I also make cornbeef really well. Probably me the best thing I make though is is baked chicken with balalmic vinegar. The vinegar helps so much to keep the chicken tender and flavorful, and the other seasons I add make it really good, it is the juiciest most tender chicken you would ever want to eat.
