I read in yahoo news http://ph.news.yahoo.com/abs/20100623/tph-peping-cojuangco-regrets-supporting-8061bf7.html that Peping Cojuangco regrets supporting Mar Roxas and should've just supported Jejemon (sorry can't help it), Jejomar Binay. OUCH! well he said "maybe" but still, OUCH! poor Roxas. I like him, I didn't vote for him though. Peping Cojuanco also mentioned that he wanted more relatives in the government. I'm like WHAT??? He wants Noy to return the favor to those who supported him and backed him up financially. Now that kind of thinking will surely sink his boat! If Noy decides to heed that call, We'll start to be poorer in about 6 months to 2 years. Tsk Tsk. See, this is why we shouldn't have let him win! Hacienda Luisitia is a proof of what kind of country they will lead. I sure hope he'll pick people who are really worthy and can make a good and lasting difference. Not someone who will manipulate people so they could gain more money and power

So far we are not seeing yet a family member being in the cabinet yet. I think the reason why Peping said that is because he feels he is not being attended to by the search committee that is currently doing the searching of people they want to be in Noy's cabinet members. I think Peping is airing his disgust how this committee chooses the people seating in. So there is still no proof whatsoever that Noy has placed any family members or relatives in any government position yet. Let us all wait what will be the outcome of this when the list is finally made public all of these are just speculations and plain rumors. As for Peping, I guess he is not allowed anymore to voice his concerns to Noy's search committee is because the search committee is avoiding this exact comment against the new administration. Be tagged again as nepotistic government like it was when his mother took on the reign as president in the past.

Yes, this time is really very critical with the new administration that early on the government should be aware that they should be careful in releasing statements that may just put their reputation down further.

I think P-Noy won't return that kind of favor. If he really wants corruption out of our country He needs to let us see. Be an example. And don't let supporters dictate on you. Hope You will be a good leader.

The problem is he seems to be the type of person who can easily be swayed by the people around him. I think he's a naturally good person, that's why utang na loob may be a big thing for him.

Hello knicnax, It was a huge mistake on Pepings' part to even propose Noynoy to Legalize "JUETENG" and it really alarmed me because this is how Erap got busted from Malacanang in the first place. as for Hacienda Luisita, i feel disappointed there for Noynoy because he should have taken charge with it. as for his family, her sisters have slowly started interfering in his job when they had promised before that they will leave Noynoy alone once he is proclaimed President if Erap, who had executive experience can be fooled, what chances of P-noy to resist.

WHAT? PEPING SAID THAT??? sorry for the all caps, but wow am I in shock! Tsk Tsk, those people who voted for him just so the immediate "Aquino" family and didn't see the extended one, the cojuanco clan. :( I hope we survive this next 6 years.

This is one of the reason I didn't vote for Noy. I just hope he won't give in to those who supported him. And what is with Peping Cojuanco? He regrets supporting Mar because he lost? So election is just business for him. He probably regretted it because he won't get anything from Mar since he lost the vice presidential election.

I think you're right. It's business for him. It's like investing on "utang na loob" For this reason, I'm glad Mar didn't win. I didn't vote for him, but I believe he is one of the few who still have pure intentions. (I hope I'm right about this). I don't want him to be tainted by vileness of his backers
