France eliminated, no surprise...

I've been a fan of France since 1998 when they won the world cup at home. My favorite player of all time is Youri djorkaeff, and even until now i'm still expecting that they can do as the players in Zidane's era did. However, seeing their recent performance since euro 2008, i still cannot understand how FFF managed to keep their faith to Raymond domenech. they played awfully in Euro, and nearly eliminated from world cup qualification, thanks to henry's hand. and now, they have their fate i think. they played the three games in group a with no style, pride, and honor. with this quality of playing, i think the result seen in the standings is fair enough. Now FFF must surely make some major changes in the squad, if they are still willing to have their pride as one of world champions back.

Yeah, they didn't deserve it. Ireland might do even better should they play in this world cup.

"Je déteste pour dire au revoir. Voyez-vous en quatre ans de France." (I hate to say good bye. See you in four years France).

Hopefully in four years the team can learn a lot...

You are not the only one who is puzzled by how FFF retained Domanech for the world cup. And now those who retained him will have to answer to the people of France as to why they made that decision. The team was shambolic, no spirit, no fight, no patriotism just plain blown egos and no care attitude!! Cheers! Ram

Domenech is probably the most hated person in France today, he has proven himself unable to unite the squad, poor strategist, and even too cocky to admit defeat.

Although I'm not French, it's been disgrace for me to see the mentality of French team. They are like spoiled child that always get to have their needs to be satisfied. With a manner like that, I think French public supposed to be angry to the players since they are one of the strongest team in the world and showing spirit like that in the play field is just shameful. Not many countries can participate in the World Cup, and France wasted that opportunity.

Childish, they are. German players are much younger than them, but they can play with pride and determination. I can't even expect today's squad to even qualify for the next Euro 2012.

i think because domenech is not good coach and france deserve to be eliminated. but maybe it was a good lesson for laurent blanc not to follow whats domenech doing. domenech give shame for france i think.

thank goodness, the era of Domenech will soon be over. I hope Blanc, with his reputation as one of French legend, can unite the spoilt stars in his squad.

i like their performance in the last world cup but after that their performance after that was very bad. and i don't like them after all so they don't have that much players also who can win match for them .they have just entered the world cup by the Henry's hand goal .but they proved that they were not eligible for their world cup entry .any way it was too sad to them ................

In 2006, there was Zidane who decided to make a comeback. It's Zidane and always Zidane. I think French players may have some kind of Zidane-complex now...
