Why the heck are there Beliebers with Bieber fever?

I'm sorry I have to ask why this kid is so super famous. What is the big deal with Justin Beiber? He is kinda cute and has an ok voice but to have a following called beliebers I just don't get it. I am also wondering why there are questions about him and these 20-something women being romantically involved, and if there are questions why are they not coming from the police? The kid is 16-years old is it not illegal to date a 29-year-old at 16? I just read the stupid comments that are made revolving this kid. He is not that great. Please help me understand why this kid is super popular and how in the World it is ok to wonder if he is dating a grown up.

Remember being a tween? That's when you discover the need for a hero. Idols are hero's of a sort. In the tweens mind he has transcended the disapproval of his peers, the number one fear that starts during the tween years and continues for the rest of our lives. In their mind he is a leader. Maybe he is. Just my opinion.

It all about marketing promotion package for the singer.His manager is doing the job well do reach more segment market from young fans,teenager fans and also adults fans so that his albums songs will go better sales.All just marketing.I am guy , so i see Beiber not much emotional also,just one song Baby baby songs etc.Haha.I also don know why he is that famous.

I never even heard one of his songs til yesterday when I watched a video and I just kept asking myself "is this a joke"? You are right it is all marketing. Apparently people who are just sheep can be convinced of anything. I just wish that adults would be adults and not idolize a little kid. Man I don't know why it pisses me off so bad lol.

hi there.
maybe the boy isn't appealing to you everyone. but i guess he has the right to fame. he has the talent, let's face it. it's just a disadvantage at times that he's a pretty boy. others do not take him seriously as an artist. take backstreet boys for example. but they were a roster of talent.
also, it's all marketing and business. bieber is a breath of fresh talent and face in the past 5 years. and his recording company took this and developed a nice marketing to hit global success. they are actually successful.
he makes 13 year old girls happy. he makes nice songs. and that what matters.
plus it doesnt' need to make sense why he's famous. this is his time.
about him dating older women, it might be true it might be false, but i guess they wouldn't mar his image by letting him do this. from what i heard, he even gets grounded whenever he doesnt' follow his parents' rules. the last i read from somewhere, he got his cellphone confiscated by his mom. so i guess we can pretty much be at peace and think that his parents are there to guide him still.

I will admit the boy is cute (though his hair is unflattering) and I'm not against him as much as all the immature adults making a much bigger deal of him than there should be. I guess I don't think he has a right to fame I don't really think anyone has that much of a right to fame, and I'm always slightly disappointed to see the crap that gets attention when there are more important things going on in the World. How about we focus on pouring money into curing real disease instead of bieber fever.

I wish I could tell you.. I don't get it either.. I have seen MANY other young kids with MUCH better voices and MORE talent than this kid has.
So why everyone is going nuts... I wish I knew too. He must have one HELL OF A Publicist!
I personally try to avoid everything being said about him.. the less I read the less
frustrated I will get.

Ok first of all he is not dating a grown up they are just friends. What the big deal about him I will never understand. He became famous on youtube and I guess the young teeny bobbers are going crazy over him. I don't get it myself but it has to do with the young girls out there I guess who think he is cute. I don't see what the big deal is with his voice or his performing. I guess you have to be twelve years old to get it.

I know they are not dating but I think it's so jacked up that people are seriously questioning it and not questioning why in the world it's even a rumor. It's a little sick and twisted if you ask me. I just don't like that a rumor like that is even acceptable. What happened to the days when it wasn't ok to date or be rumored to be dating a child? And I wish it was only the 12 year olds that liked him but he's got all these adult friends to. It just bothers me.

I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore, go to every show fan but I do like his music and I guess I am a "Belieber." I'm seventeen, but whatever. I like his lyrics, I like his music, and it's catchy. His voice does sound kind of girly but that will improve. I think I like him because I am his age and I'm trying to make it in the music buisness too. I guess I look up to him because he is where I want to be minus the twelve year old following.
