Hey people, Well homosexuality has been always a sensitive topic all over the world. Although it has been legalized in many countries all over the world but still there are some nations that have banned its practice. Also many people have hard feelings for it and for those who practice it. Moreover religion has always had issues with it. Almost all religions consider homosexuality a sin and forbid its practice in any form. So I just wanna discuss it here and have your view on it. What do you think about homosexuality? Do you think it is not good and noble to practice? Do you think it should be banned in the world. or Do you think it is just as natural as heterosexuality and should not be forbidden? Well as far as I'm concerned I'm neither against of it nor I'm in its favour. I feel that it is kinda natural for those who are indulge but at the same time I think it should not be given much support, publicity and should not be promoted, as it may result in increasing practice of it. well I know it is a very sensitive topic to discuss and I want to admit that i have no intentions to hurt anybody's feelings and sentiments. So guys just share your views here. -Miraz :)

No, I don't think that it should be forbidden. The classification by most religions of homosexuality as sinful is irrational and derives from an instinctive dislike which has little or nothing to do with religion. Rather than repeat what I have already said, I suggest that you read what I have written as the second response here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2342979.aspx

Forbidding something does not remove it from existence. It simply makes criminals of people who would otherwise not be criminals. Laws should exist to protect people in general from wrongful harm by other individuals. A mutually consenting couple practising homosexuality does no practical or actual harm to anyone by their relationship.

I don't think it should be forbidden. If two men/women like each other I don't think they should avoid being with each other because some people believe it's a 'bad thing'. They aren't doing anything wrong, they are just 2 human beings who are in love with each other. They already know the consenquences that being a gaay couple involves, how some are against them, that quite a few people wont accept them, they take responsibility for that. If they truly love each other they will face the world and everything it throws at them together.:)
