I've been going to church my whole life and i've always come to this question. We all know God, we know who he is God and we say that he is a Fair God. My question is though, if God is a Fair God then why are people still destined for He--? I mean if you really look at it, if God knows our destiny then why do we still go through this world. I believe in God but i've asked this to many preachers and all of them gave me that look. So I want to ask it on here. IS God a FAIR GOD if he knows our destiny before we were BORN..

How could a loving God send sinners to hell? He doesn't. The sinners volunteer themselves.

So how do people get to hell. Does your god send a messenger to lead them for a 20 mile hike? Do they take a bus? What process did your god create to get people to the lake of fire?

While you said, "you have been going to church for your whole life", have you included old age as well"? I see you are still young and whole life constitute old age as well. As you grow you will gradually know answer to this question. You have asked a question, "Is God a fair God". In book according to Matthew at 7:9-11 it is written, "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? On the other hand, if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him?" You said you went to preachers to find an answer to the question you have raised on this board. I have heard many preachers. They stand on the pulpit and after reading this passage, they nod in approval and say, "God as good he is would give his son bread and fish for asking.” They think that the verse Matthew 7:7 and Matthew 7:9-11 are the same. Matthew 7:7 says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Little they know God does not give anything for asking. To Adam he said, "By the sweat of your brow You will eat your food Until you return to the ground, Since from it you were taken; For dust you are" And to dust you will return." If we ask God for bread, he will not give us bread for asking but he would teach us to earn bread and if we ask him for fish, he would teach us to catch fish so we may eat bread and fish every day. God does not give us everything we ask therefore; we say God is not fair. God's ways are different to our ways. If preachers do not understand the simple verse written in the bible how would they know what are God’s ways and how would they tell whether God is fair or not?

You're asking... (Just trying to clarify because I'm not really sure what you're asking) that if God is fair then why do people go to hell? Well... if God is fair then why doesn't everyone go to hell? After all, the Bible says we're all sinners and we all fall short of the glory of God. Let's line up a murder, a rapist, and a thief and put them before a judge. Is the judge going to tell them that none of them are going to prison because that wouldn't be fair? No. The judge is going to tell them that they're ALL going to prison because that's what fair would be. They broke the law, and they hurt people. They sinned. They missed the mark, and now they're going to pay for it. But let's say that the judge has his own daughter put on trial before him. She's truly guilty, and they both know it. The judge is required by the laws he himself put in place to sentence her. So he does... but then he steps down and takes the sentence upon himself. That's what God did for us. He's the Judge, but he's also the Father. Of course, the daughter has to accept her father's sacrifice for her in order to be free. If she denied his gift or ran away, she would eventually have to face the consequences of her actions. If she were destined for hell, it would be perfectly fair.
