Is that Spain can win the world cup?

Spain has a very good team and after the wobble in the first match have managed to get back into the round of 16. Now I see them going quite far in the tournament. I think they will make the semis and after that it is anybody's game. Before the tournament began I had picked Brazil, Argentina and Spain as teams to watch. I still go by my picks. With players like Villa, Torres, Xavi, Alonso and Fabregas, I think Spain are a very dangerous side and the early shock will do them a lot of good. Cheers! Ram

I think that Spain can win the world cup but they will have to play better than they did against Chile. I thought that Chile were the better team for a lot of the match and were unlucky to get a player sent off. I think that they need to get Torres fitand they have a tough match coming up against Portugal.

If they play like against Chile, they'll get at most to the 1/4 final. Spain has very good footballers, which play in the biggest world championships but their game just is not the same as the expectations. The pressure on them is too high and that can helps for the bad performance. But at all they can beat any of the 32 teams on this World Cup, so they can win it.

its still not the final 8, its just the last 16 teams.well if Spain can knock out Portugal, i could say they might go all the way to winning he cup, but they face a very strong Portugal. So as of now i don't see Spain winning the cup

Yes, it definitely have a bright future dn the road. It got the strongest team ever in their national history!!! However , next game is a tough one to against Portugal. This is an exciting year

I think it's hard for Spain to win the World Cup 2010. They started the elimination round with lose. And they even didn't show good performance even though finally they pass to the next round. In big sixteen round, they will meet Brazil. As we know, Brazil pass the elimination round with good result and good performance. They win two games and draw against Portugal in the last game. In my opinion, they will hard to beat Brazil. Even though they could pass to the quarter final, or even semifinal, there are others team which have good performance rather than Spain. I think it's hard way to reach the final for David Villa and friends. But it's football. Everything could happen. There is no mathematics applied here. everything could be possible. Just watched the games and cheers for your favorite
