Fetus can't feel pain before 24 weeks...

..study says. Nerve connections not sufficiently formed, say British health experts. Doctors say there is increasing evidence that even after 24 weeks the fetus is in a state of "continuous sleep-like unconsciousness or sedation".
well whatever the study shows i still believe its inhumane to eliminate that precious life. there are a lot of married couples who are fervently praying just to have even a child and it's sad to think people who are selfish are given a child but would want to get rid off after knowing they'll be having one.

I read that a man filmed an abortion. The lady was about 12 weeks pregnant. It was called 'The Silent Scream' and it can be watched on the Internet. After filming that the man undertsood how horrible abortion is. Abortion is killing an innocent baby. I think that the week by week development of a baby as he or she develops in pregnancy is amazing. It is a special time in which a baby grows. The day he or she comes out should be the birth. If the baby is not wanted there is always adoption. I was shocked to read 98% of abortions in my home country are done for social or economic reasons. I woul not ever choose to have an abortion. I feel sorry for the babies that are aborted. They become missing people that the mother should have loved and cared for.

one thing i prayed when i got married is to have a even a child, to prove that i am a woman, to make myself complete as well as make my husband happy. it's sad to think that there are women who would consider or have done abortion. a child is a gift- i hope that everyone who would have one will consider as it is.

I am so with you on this issue. A fetus is still a human being and there's no way he or she should get aborted. Parents should be responsible enough to raise the baby. If they cant, there are always institutions which are willing to take cae of the baby so the least they can do is to bring them the baby.

I agree with both of you!
Some people say well, if the person is raped than I understand it. NO! If a person is raped, they can still give it up for adoption if they don't want it. Regardless, it is NOT the child's fault that this happened. Why punish the child who has no control over anything?
