How do you describe me...

When I was in Primary One (7 years old), I got only two exercise books in my bag to bring to class and my bag was larger than necessary to accommodate the two books. I found carrying my bag by its strap on my right shoulder to be awkward. The bag looked shabby (empty), light and ugly, which I didn't like at all. After considering my dislike, I got an idea. My elder brother had many books which he would not bring to school. I took a few of the books and fit into my bag. The bag became full and nice to carry to school, though quite a bit heavy for my shoulder. Inside me, I felt that this act could give me some pride and good feeling of being seen by my schoolmates as a diligent student. My myLot friends, have compassion on me. Could you tell me what type of personalty I was exhibiting? Was it good or was it a crazy act I had done? Thank you.

At 7 years of age, I think you were far more matured than your age and have shown some kind of intelligence and far sightedness in your studies and in your future. It shows that you are really a hard working person and will work hard to reach success.

At the age of seven I would say that you were very selfaware. And the solution you found showed that you were smart also. How did your brother react when he found his books missing?

Hi savypat, my brother did not know (and until now he still doesn't know that I have done that to his books). I had confidence doing it because those were his old books he dumped to one corner of our wooden house. But if he really had known me doing it, I would have told him sincerely my purpose and would have promised him to give good custody of his books. Yeah, I forgot to mention to you that the bag I was to carry was so suitable to be filled with books to avoid the ugly shabby look and especially because I walked(though I wasn't alone)to school which was about 4 miles away from our house. I felt I was quite a perfectionist little boy.

I don’t think that you’re behaviour showed anything strange or crazy about you at all, in fact it proved that you were quite a resourceful and intelligent seven year old! You didn’t want to look odd and that is a normal reaction for children, they just want to fit in and not appear different in any way.
