World war resulted a better world I think so. May be many people go against me. But I am not supporting the worldwar, its reasons and the casualties. I only meant for the outcome of this. Yes those were like creation of United nations , international courts etc. now there are very less chances of a war like this kind due to these organisations. I think world is safer even there are more disaster weapons. In my view earlier powerful countries were intending only to attack and conquer others which is not today’s situation. Today countries are helping each other, because they all are connected. We are also the example talking here in this community. what are your views.

But I think even if we did not have world wars the world would have changed. Through world wars we learnt lessons. For example, we learnt that after defeat humiliation of the vanquished just did not help; rather the victorious party should also help in rebuilding the loser. Even after world war II we had Cold War for so many years between two great powers.

yes the cold war was there. but there is not much loss of human life. and now it has ended also. the impotent thing is that people today do-not interest in wars, countries want to work together to grow.

We got rid of Hitler for one. Another thing is that much of the inventions used in war are now used in peacetime. We now have nuclear energy instead of making bombs all the time (not that I like the idea - accidents can happen) Jet engines are now used in planes that travel long distances, and not just for dropping bombs on people. It gave a better idea of a just war (getting rid of evil dictators) vs unjust war (wanting to expand your borders and killing the other people and not because the other people did horrible things like sacrifice their children to idols, etc.) It gave the premise that even in war, certain violations are not to be tolerated like killing people on account of their ethnic group or religion. Now there is a standard by which we can measure the acts of an invading country. That is a good thing.

i think this is really good time. otherwise that time could be the end of human life. what ever the problem we are facing at world level , absolutely they are not bigger like world war. and nations are shaking hands to go ahead together. i do not mean that every thing is very sweet but the things are really better.

Much as I do not like violence, I would hate to see a world with a dictator in charge. For instance not all the German people have blond hair and blue eyes so that even many of them would be in danger of extermination, and that would also have extended to the Italians or anyone not meeting their standards. The danger of the result of Hitler by the way was not that he intended to rule the world, but he made it so that some people figured that people with blond or red hair and blue or grey or green eyes and fair skin were more likely to turn out to be white ring terrorists and if they wanted large families it was so that they could wipe out all the other peoples. And consequently if you had dark skin, you could have a large family. So it sort of increased racism. So I figure for some people, that no human dictator should rule the world and that we all have the freedom to exist as human beings no matter what our ethnic group or religion, was lost by those who used it as an excuse to vilify anyone who had the Northern European appearance.
