Guys, I know it is not ethical to ask such a question but as the discussion interest would suggest, I need to lose twenty pounds. Mylot had made me sit in front of the computer for the longest time. I had gotten FAT!

I need to lose another 50 to 70 lbs. I can't blame mylot for all of it, I started out at the current weight, but I did gain about 50 lbs since the turn of the century

I am starting with a few stretches and short distance walks again. Elic, a decade is long enough. Might be difficult to shed off but we could begin now.

Yes, myLot is addictive.. Better take some breaks and do exercise and go out for a walk now and then. Avoid sugar, white flour, white rice so that you donĀ“t get fast carbs. They rise the sugar level and the body has to get rid of the extra sugar, so it stores it as fat. I hope you get rid of the extra kilos - they tend to add up, as they have done for me, when you get older.

I weigh about 58 kgs which is approx 128lbs...according to all the medical books, I am the right weight for my height (172cms/5'8"). Good luck in losing 20lbs! I suggest just do some walking every afternoon or morning but still enjoy mylot :) lol.

So far I am not worried yet of my weight. I also sit a lot in front of my computer because of mylot and other online earning sites. But sometimes I almost forgot to eat on time or I would prefer to work in front of the computer rather than to eat. So I think there's no increase or decrease with my weight for now. I'll just probably use a weighing scale during my checkup.

Some people are just so damned lucky! But hey dian, the food is important. Take care of your health so that check up won't be necessary.

http://www.gutenberg.org/files/14743/14743.txt The link above is to an old book from the public domain called "The Fun of Getting Thin". You can read it online and it is not long and is one guy's story of how he lost heaps of weight. It is written in a humorous style and is a very practical way to lose weight. It worked for him. Enjoy.

Hahahaa!!! It did the same thing to me! I haven't been around here for a few months but I always return when I'm not so busy. Walking for 15-20 minutes a day or some kind of exercise helps as long as you 'power walk' or walk fast enough that you are almost running. If it's cold or raining here I usually do something inside, even go up and down the stairs for ten minutes quickly works, too!

I'm 154 lbs and at 5 feet tall with a small body frame, I am 40 pounds overweight. I am a full-time online professional (transcriptionist). My laptop has become my appendage. We need to make some lifestyle changes if we want to achieve our respective ideal weights. That means more exercise and healthy food choices. Losing weight doesn't mean we have to eat less. We just need to make the right food choices. Good luck to us!

moongoddess, at five feet, you must only be a hundred pounds. For every inch added, you must add only five pounds. Like me, we have a lot of pounds to delete. Get that appendage out of the way or a medical transcription will not work. Race you to the sexiness?!

I wish I have your built. Mine is really difficult to trim . My hair, too. I am just not physically endowed, I guess! I had been conscious of my food, too. A little salt adds weight. But I am determined to trim myself for health purposes!

I'm in the same boat you're in, but for a slightly different reason. In the past year I think I've gained maybe 20 pounds or so. It started when I started getting stressed and stuff and the more stressed I would get the more weight I would gain, even though I was eating fairly decent and exercising. Now, I don't exercise as much as I should because I've been having some back problems, but I'm hoping to get back in the swing of it soon when my back's healed. T_T

I had back pains too when I used to carry heavy bags and books. Doctor advised me to refrain from heavy loads. My back got better. I hope yours is nothing serious. Do not allow stress ruin your health. Life is so good it is just unfair to allow problems get in our nerves. When problems come, I deal with them right away, sort of ask, what are the possible solutions. That done, I watch a movie and sleep.

Ooops, shrug the fear away. There's no point keeping it. Hit the scale and do the exercises. You will feel better when you are physically fit.
