Children Pay for the Sins of the Parents

I don't really believe this statement but apparently it is usually used as an excuse by murderers. For example, a certain person wants revenge on the parents of the child but ends up killing the child because that person believes that children pays for the sins of the parents. This thing usually happens to politicians with bad reputation or to ordinary despicable people. What do you think?

I don't believe that this is the truth at all. Children are innocent individuals and there is never any reason that they should be punished because of the decisions that their parents made in their lives. I've never seen a sitution where there has been a child that was punished directly on account of what their parents have done in their lives. That said, I do think that there are times that children indirectly have to pay for the mistakes that their parents have made in the past.

I guess it has always been a generalization. That when a parents commits something good or bad- the reflection of their actions has a funny way of being repayed to their children. Example, most of the male parents who are committing adultery will be more cautious because once their offspring is a girl - either she will get pregnant in an early age or will be a real problem to that certain male parent. Most likely to be a real example would be - let's say: me. LOL. My mom told me before that I would be a headache for my father and I guess I was. Their marriage didn;'t work out because my father had so many affairs. He said before to someone that he could risk losing his marriage to my mom but not to me. Instead, I was far more greater of a punishment because I didn't talk to him for year. The simple things a daughter could cripple and really hurt a parent. I am saying this to be a proof of your theory but I came to understand that maybe it has to do with the ones who's really important to your life. I also had my case - it happened to a best friend. Somehow, all the bad things I did caused our friendship. And now we are not friends anymore. I hope you get what I mean here. It does not only point to politicians but to us who are living in this world. =)

I don't really believe that children pays for the sins of their parents ...its actually the extension of their guilt complex that come to work not the law of Karma.. what get around comes around .. to you, not your kids..
