Summer school?

I'm enrolled in summer school this year because of my learning disabilities that prevented me from passing biology. I was enrolled in it last year, as well. However, I failed to see the point in it, besides getting the grade. You don't really learn anything in a three-week period, and I think the credit could be just as easily earned through a test or two than through weeks of pointless reteaching. What do you think?

I think that if someone has failed a course there has to be sufficient time to go over the main parts of the material during summer school. I don't believe that taking a couple of tests without reteaching the material is going to accomplish anything.
