It's Feeding Time...what do you have for tummy?

Boston, Massachusetts
July 1, 2010 11:31pm CST
It's lunchtime and i am supposed to have only fruits for lunch. A friend came and brought some food for us in the office. Shoe brought fish with coconut milk and sweet beans. So, i was forced to eat rice as the fish is really good with rice. I too have mcdonalds vanilla caramel sundae for dessert. Tummy is happy. How about you? what do you have for tummy? something sweet, sour, bitter, hot and spicy or something healthy? Thanks for sharing!

Its 8 p.m. here in India. I always have heavy snacks and skip my dinner - conscious of my weight. My cook prepared something yummy for tea - a snack prepared from jack fruit my favourite. I will have my soup now and a hot cup of milk before I go to bed!

Giving recipes in myLot are a violation. Please add me as your friend and I will PM you recipes. Skipping dinner has helped me lose weight as whatever one eats for dinner gets converted into calories as we normally sleep with a heavy stomach and that is my theory. I am attributing my weight reduction to this theory!

My friend's fig tree is full of ripe fruit, so I had fig pasta. It was really good. This is two months late, but I love to try to revive old discussions.

i just have bananas for breakfast and hopefully make it to lunch with oatmeal and another set of fruits. fruit diet is simply eating and enjoying any fruits available in the table. i am used to having only two bananas and a cup of oatmeal for lunch especially when i am in the office. when i am home i can have some variety of fruits and still pair it with oatmeal. Yes green tea, peppermint tea or chamomile tea. So cool and relaxing.

LOL, stick to the fruit diet! haha I'm impressed with those who can maintain fruit diet. As for me, even though I have to lose some flab, I can't stand having only fruits and vegetables.. Not having to mind what you had during lunch, how do you maintain fruit diet? And when you say tea, do you mean green tea?

In a few hours I have bacon, sausage, and eggs ready in the fridge to cook up for breakfast once my boyfriend wakes up. I also got a pot of coffee on the timer!

Hi there Ms. Francisco! Well, that's great! I had a footlong hotdog for lunch and soda. Yeah, unhealthy but satisfying. I don't have time to cook or go home since I am making reviewers for our prelim exams and had to settle for what's available.

Hi CK, Sundae is the only food i love from mcdo--their vanilla caramel sundae. You just had a great meal. the tortang dilis made the difference in your dinner. chocolate is a good dessert it will take away the "langsa"of what you had for dinner! yum...yum..yum!

Hi Winks, I had a full meal during lunchtime. Now that it's snack time I have a bag of cheezy chips on my table and I'm munching right now, truly unhealthy but delightfully satisfying. I've always planned to give up junk food but when they're right before my eyes I just can't resist them. Yum yum yum. I'll regret later

Hi! I just finished eating grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch although it's already 4:00 in the afternoon here, LOL. I slept so late last night and I got really tired at lunch time today so I took a nap and woke up at 3:00 pm :) Anyway, it's kind of like a variation of grilled cheese sandwich -- it has tomato sauce and tomatoes in it aside from melted cheese. It's really delicious! Too bad I don't have lettuce, it would have been more yummy if it has lettuce in it, and also white onion rings! :) Yum!

Hi Veronizm, At least you're able to give yourself a break and treat for that yummy grilled snadwich. the tomatoes and the onions made it healthier. it seems like i am now craving for it. have a blessed sunday!

From the past few weeks I started my no rice diet as part of reducing my weight and as well as hypertension level. I usually eat fruits, oatmeal and other non carbohydrates meals. It is a part of my friend's advice that oftenly work out in a fitness gym that rice is a heavy meal because of its carbohydrates contents. So for now I my eating habits is just limited even I wanted to eat more of my favorite food.
