Rejected from a task

South Korea

Hi all, Looking for some advice from experienced posters here. I just got a rejection message from the person who posted a task on the site. That is fair enough - what puzzles me is that the reason given is 'the article has lots of grammatical mistakes'. I am not trying to boast or show off but as an English teacher I really doubt that was the case. Is there any point in disputing this? I will be happy to post a copy here or PM it to anyone who doubts my self belief or would like to agree with me :0 Cheers, feeling rather disgruntled at this moment.

This should be an issue between you, the Task Owner and MyLot. I am not sure what responsibility MyLot accept for incorrect/unfair rejection (I think that their Terms limit their responsibility to paying workers when the task is accepted, which seems wrong to me). Your first step should be to dispute the rejection with the Task Owner. If you don't get a reply in, say, a week, you should contact MyLot (use the Contact link at the bottom and select 'Other' from the drop-down list) and explain the situation.

Thanks for the quick and thorough response Owlwings. I tried to contact the task poster but my PC crashed :) Will try again. (I did notice the poster details said they hadn't logged in for a year - which seemed off too). As I said I have no problem with being rejected per se. However, I would hate to think that those posting tasks are randomly rejecting them without a good reason (which could have happily been 'thanks - but not what I wanted'.) At the end of the day it is impossible to know what is happening to the work submitted, which is a little worrying for me.

Ok, I tried to reply (via the 'respond to this message' link but I cannot. I must be friends with the user before I can respond. So here I am feeling frustrated and, to be honest, a little bit cheated.
