Yes, that is really crazy. I think people should take sports as fun and nothing else. Life is definitely more important than sports and it should be given it's due weightage. I feel sorry for his family!! Cheers! Ram

It is a bit of an over reacton. At the end of the day it is only a game and surely that fan would have seen Brazil win another world cup if he had not taken his own life.

this only confirm what i already knew, some people are so idiot that make very stupid thing for football, maybe because they are very short of inteligence. the other reason could be that he bet all his savings on the match and he lost, but i think that is more because he was more a kind of "manolo el del bombo" one stupid guy that left all his family, his job, only to follow the spain team to all their matches. i love football, i'm a fan of barça, and i celebrate the victories, but if they lose i don't get depresed and got angry, ( well i got angry if i bet to win against a crappy team and the damned referee steals 3 penaltys and the match finishes 0-0 and i lose the bet xD)

It is really sad that people cannot realize what is important in life, and kill themselves over something that has no big relevance in real life. The World Cup will take place again in 4 years, and I am sure Brazil will be there then too! But most of all, I really feel sorry for this guy's family, what a horrible way and reason to loose a family member for!

I think the peak of their frustration when Felipe Melo was rewarded a red card !!! All player lost of concentration and involve emotions into the game. Truly tragic....
