Its looking like we are going to have an all European final

At the moment Germany are leading Argentina 3 - 0. With Holland beating Brazil it looks like we may have an all European final, I am sure that Paraguay and Uruguay will stop that happening. It is strange how the tables have turned because after the group games it seemed like the south american countries were going to dominate this world cup. Germany will take some beating but i think that Spain may still win the tournament.

Just a few days ago, we were, well I did then, discussing the possibility of an all South American semi finals and now, with Argentina and Brazil out, we are could be staring at an all European final. What a turn about.

Yes, it does look like that. I think the three teams from Europe that qualified for the quarters are now beginning to turn on the style. It looks very likely that we will see Spain, Holland and Germany alongwith Uruguay in the semis which would mean that there are 3 European and 1 South American team in the semis. And the odds would be on an all European final. Cheers! Ram
