So what older television shows does everyone remember? I remember getting up on Saturday mornings as a kid and watching Saturday Showboat and after school we got to watch Rocky and Bullwinkle before we had to do chores. I also remember the Smurfs and Reading Rainbow. Does anyone remember Electric Company? We watched that one in school...

Oh wow, this is a trip down memory lane. I do remember all those shows. I used to love Reading Rainbow and I watched the smurfs like clockwork...hehe. I miss all the Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry and stuff. I don't know if they play them any more, but it seems like I see them less and less nowadays. My husband insists that we get DVD box sets of both so that our kids will grow up watching them because he thinks we'd be depriving our kids otherwise. xD

These days the good old 90s kids shows are considered old to me since they barely play them anymore. But I remember when I was younger in the morning I would always watch Gilligan's Island and Three's Company. TBS used to play it on Syndication and I absolutely loved both shows despite them being way before my time. I love sitting down and watching some of the older stuff from time to time.
