my 7-year old niece doesnt eat seafoods unless its fish... i tried to let her taste and maybe realize that its delicious but she just wont.. she is also afraid of crustaceans.. i remember when she was a little bit younger my dad bought her toys.. she had this plastic crab and lobster.. but she is scared and would run a way from it.. my dad has to keep it away from her... one time when we had shrimp for lunch.. i tried to give her some.. but she was scared and went screaming.. i guess she has a phobia.. anyway, do you have any experience like this?.. do you hate seafoods too? or do you like it? just share

Not good for me because I can't eat those without having some itchiness and redness on my skin.. Most of them would say that shrimps taste good..

Hi, I love to eat seafoods.Especially prawns and fishes. Both are my favourite dishes. I like to cook steam fish for my family. My son also like to eat fish now. When he was young, he did not like to eat fish, but now slowly he has get used to the fish taste and he enjoy eating fish. I am yet to give him prawn and crab because I am worry of the sensitivity. Wait till he grow older bit, then only I will slowly introduce prawn and crab to him. Sometimes, I will cook curry fish too...Yummy !! I love those spicy food.

i'm mostly quite okay with seafoods.. it's just those shellfish which are filter feeders, like clams, mussels, oysters and such.. i used to have terrible allergic reactions toward those types of seafood and would never ever ever touch it at all

this could be due to her experience on televison and cartoon channels. She must have seen the crustaceans attacking humans or someting similar. She need to be fed the sea food without telling her what it is. Anyways the fear will go once she grows up and understands things.

i think they should do it while she is still a child, because it's gonna be hard when she grows up hating and being afraid of crustacians that might use by bullies as an advantage to scare her

erm well i hate all seafoods ever since i was a little girl and we used to be served with school dinners and on the menue we would have fish i would throw my dinner away under the table ..lolz i just hated the smell of fish i just used to feel sick even now as a adult i still have the same feelings for fish i cant tollarate the smell. If i have to go to the super markets like Tesco or Asda's and if i have to walk pass the fish counter oh my gosh what a experiance i just cannot breath so i guess its kind of a phobia. I allways thought it was me becouse in my family out of all my sibblings its me who heavily reacts to fish like this ....

She seems really scared of seadfood huh?? Even those fake ones, such as toys!! Maybe u or her parents should let her watch some cartoons with seafood in it, whereby it cuten their looks.. lol =D I do not have such experience, and as far as i know, those ple around me, whom dun like or dun eat seafood, are those allergic to it, but never scared at the sight of it.. hehe I'm not really into seafood, because i'm only into fish and crabs.. haha =D

i don't think any one in the family, any of my kids, have phobia with these. we cannot just have seafoods like those orange colored things when cooked as most of the kids and my wife are allergies to these seafoods. but i love them so much.

Hello kodai, I am not afraid, how ever i don't like eating crabs after they're just being cooked, i have no experience eating them from the tough skins, my relatives how ever knows it how. so, i prefer the "stuffed crabs" because it's easy to eat the skin if there's enough parts to take it out and put it in the crabs main bone body

i love sea foods because they are good for my blood group "o+ve". early man lived on sea foods and it is our oldest form of food before rice and vegetables were cultivated so as your sister grows up educate her of the scientific facts about sea foods she ll love it because they are healthy and good to the body

I don't like seafood unless it's a fish as well. I never even tried eating squid, I'm so paranoid with that thing. I eat those small prawn, but those big ones will make me run away and eat far from others. I don't know if I will ever try to eat squid, all my friends said it's very delicious..mmm..I'm not really sure haha
