You Have to Decide What You Want and Get It

Most of us knows what we want for ourselves but sometimes, our negative thoughts attacks us, like this one: "just because we want that to happen, it doesn't mean it's gonna happen." But here's the thing, that maybe true but you can't not try because your afraid you're gonna fail on getting what you want. It will be like not wanting to go out on a date because you're afraid that all guys are gonna cheat on you or not wanting to write because you're afraid that you're never gonna get publish anyway. We can't be afraid to go after what we want even if we don't know what the outcome is gonna be. Now I know what I want. What about you?

Rational we all want to be happy and deserve the best of everything. It is not the matter of deciding who you want and what you want to get. Everything in this world is random so all we have to do is to get the most of everything to the people we care about. And the moments you shared with them is the only treasure that you will remember the rest of your life. For me, the only thing I wanted is to live a legacy that they will remember me generation to the next generations the thought that you have done something good for others generally not only for me but for my love ones and for others as well that's what i wanted to have.

You are never far from the truth carlynganda. I've read a saying that goes something like "The only thing that stops you from doing the things you want to do is yourself!" You have named a few. There is always the "What if..." And that concerns me too especially if its a new project I'm undertaking or doing something new. I've been trying very hard for years to be optimistic and to have a positive attitude. There are breathing exercises and relaxation techniques that I do regularly but it somehow finds its way to counter-attack my thoughts. But I'm not going to allow it to. When I don't achieve I would rather it was due to a lack of idea rather than a loss in the fight that happened in my brain.

If we want to get something of course we must work for it. We must put lots of efforts in order to achieve what we really wanted. Our dreams will guide us and will motivate us to move and work.

I agree with this. We really must develop a strong desire to achieve what we want. Focus and determination is what we need and of course a strong faith and belief in thy self. I want to have a family of my own and live a simple life. I know how I can achieved this so for now I really just have to discipline myself if ever I want to achieve it in due time

Very true, you have to figure out what you want and seize the opportunity. You would be surprised that you would succeed. And if you fail at getting what you want, it is not for lack of trying. It is just because you have yet to succeed. Therefore, at making the effort to seize what you want, it will help achieve many goals in life. I think that even with failure, you gain one important thing. That important thing was knowledge. With each failure, we are a bit wiser. We might be able to rethink everything. However, without trying, we will learn absolutely nothing. It is just that simple. We will just live a stagnated life, with no chance of improvement whatsoever. Is that really any life to live? I don't think so.

Goals, and the ability to achieve the things we desire are very important to our lives. Fear of the unknown is a normal reaction, but with caution we cannot let that fear stand in the way of our achieving our goals. My personal experience has taught me that desires and goals change with age and personal circumstance. I have found it best to set goals with achievable steps between achieving the ultimate outcome, this allows room for flexibility and minor set backs with minimal disappointment. Follow your dreams life is wonderful.

You are absolutely right that every one is clear about what he or she wants. I am also very clear about what I want in life, but yes at times negative thoughts hamper the progress and hard work needed to achieve the targets.

I must say this is very inspirational. You are right though, we must know what we want and go after it without fear, without negativity. Just think of the positive, think of what we will have accomplished, and what we get to look forward to looking back on if you know what I mean. I know that my husband and I want our own place. We're still afraid to be out on our own though, in ways, but in ways we want to be able to relax after a long day or night of work without any interruptions or noise. I've got to get a job, and I've been afraid of going out there as I am afraid of disappointing my husband. I've had jobs before, but I get highly stressed and in the past I've quit the jobs I've had because of that stress. Now I know I can't just quit as money ='s a future, even if half the world doesn't want it to be, money does make the world go round. Well Good Luck to you and your dreams, and your wants.

sometimes life is very much confusing and we stop at one point and think of what we need to do further and how to go forward and it is a real big confusion and i think i am into this situation. i am a stay at home mom and i need to take care of my children and i also want to do some job but the thing is what about my children and what kind of a job i need to search of, i had did my engineering but after i finish my studies i got married and then the kids and all and hence now its almost 6 years gap after my studies and i have lost hope that i might get a job in my field and if i choose something different kind of jobs i feel that it is not for me as the people who have studied lesser than me also can do this jobs and it is so confusing for me to make my career at this point of time. its a big question mark in my life which i want to sort it out as fast as possible. each and everyone have their own stories and every person in the world has their own tensions where they feel helpless and just landup with question marks and depression.

I always knew what i wanted....But i had some restricting beliefss that stopped me from doing things. But now i avoid any restricting belief. I go for what i want provided it is right. I create an image in my mind and i know i will get it. "If my mind concievs and my heart believes, then i know i can achieve it".
