All those numerous uses, what do you use lavendar oil for?

I always have a bottle of pure lavender oil in my kitchen cupboard for when I burn myself (it always happens whether it's on the cooker, oven, iron etc. If you apply it straight away to the burn, it takes away all the pain, and there is no recurrance of pain later. Still apply, if you don't get to the bottle straight away, it's still brilliant). It stops it blistering too, it is an absolute miracle worker. Also, if you have an insect bite, a couple of dabs of lavender oil and it soon stops itching. It is also good for the skin in minute doses, a drop or two mixed in with your moisturiser. Another good use it has is the way it helps you relax, a couple of drops on your pillow at night, soon has you falling into the land of nod. I cannot do without this little gem. Can anyone else name any other uses?
