World Cup latest thoughts? Germany to win it?

Most interesting world cup I've seen. I initially fancied Spain to win the whole thing, but now that they've reached the semi-finals, I actually hope Germany destroy them.
Germany came out from a group that they topped, to play an English side that struggled to qualify. Germany were named underdogs for this match , which they won 4-1. So impressive IMHO.
Germany Vs Argentina. Once again, Germany are named as underdogs. Argentina had a 100 percent record, but in all honesty there weak at the back, and Germany were improving from each game. I tipped that match for a 3-0 Germany win, and I was not far off.
Now, Germany V Spain. Yet again, Germany are underdogs. This is understandable considering Spain were the initial bookies favourites, but if the past matches are anything to go by, Germany should absolutely destroy them. They work as a team superbly, and I will be tipping a 3-1 win, with 2 goals from Klose.
What are your opinions on this? Please let me know if you think I've gone crazy.
Also, Holland. Interestingly, anybody who fancied an outside bet, or prefer not to pick "obvious teams", fancied Holland to do well. And they have not dis-appointed. Uruguay are not a top team, and Holland should get through that match with a 2-0 win. Although Spain are still favourites, I could see Holland beating Spain, but not being able to beat a strong German side. Would love to see Uruguay reach the final, even after that heroic/foolish Suarez act. What do other people think about this? Anyone still fancying Spain to win it all? Let me know your thoughts.

Germany will win this World Cup. But, Serbia beat them, so, they are champions for me :p

Yes, it has been one crazy ride, especially for the fancied sides. I loved the upsets thus far in the tournament. Of the semifinalists, we have the Dutch and Spain who have never won the world cup. Then we have Uruguay who are making it to the semis after a 40 year absence. Germany is the only team with any recent memories of lifting the cup in 1994.

I think Germany has the higher chance of winning this years world cup. With the way they are playing right now, I don't think that any other team in the league can match them. The closest could be Argentina and Brazil. But both have bowed out in contention. In the remaining four teams in the semifinals, the Germans will win all the way if they play the game same as that drubbing of the Argentinians.

I was going for Argentina to win the tournament but after their match with the Bundesteam I'm confident the germans will win it.

Since Argentina is out, so this time I think Germany will win the World Cup. Although many friends of mine say it is likely Spain will be the champion. But I think Germany team plays the soccer better. According to their performance, they shall be the winner.

yes i agree with you......i also think that germany will win this world cup...at any cost....spain is also nice but no one without david villa is playing well.....but the whole german team is playing with unity and playing well also......so i think they are gonna win .....

I was Germany fan and I believe in them! It is because their playing ball with teamwork. Too many Star Player in 1 team not enough to show best game. With the teamwork and skills, great game will shown. I believe Germany will be the World Cup 2010 Winner. Go Germany!

we'll see if the Germans still have their firepower facing the best goal keeper ever, Iker Casillas... I knew the Spain was struggling their past matches, esp. F.Torres, but in semis vs the Germans, Torres will surprise all!!! i believe they can still win the cup, the Netherlands and Uruguay are worthless! so who will win between Germany and Spain are the Champ! So good luck to all...
