How can i stop of coming of discussion or response into my email account ?

Hello friends any body knows how i can cease(stop) to coming of discussion or response which are made by my friends into my email account because there are bulk of email comes from mylot and i find difficulty to search the important email like email related to job..etc. I tried to stop it by going into the preferences but still i'm getting the emails from mylot. Please tell me if any body knows..?

That means you are alienating yourself from your friends. Without notification yo uwould probably not respond to any discussion started by them. Yet...
If you care for your friends a better way is to create a folder in your email account. You can then transfer all emails from myLot to this folder. If your email provider has the option to have an automatic transfer then use this option.
Another alternative is to delete all the names in your friends list. We have friends so that we have a bigger choice in making a response, not to shut them out.
The third option would be to open another email account.

Looks like the previous respondent beat me to the punch. You must have been going crazy with all the messages eh? I wish that it would default with notifications off.
