If you found a big bag full of money what would you do with it?????

July 6, 2010 7:04am CST
On a sunny day you are walking on the road and you find a bad, you open it and you see it is full of money and there is no owner to it watsoever. And that bag has so much of money that you can spend your life time without even working. At this point of time what will you be doin with that money for the rest of your life and how would you spend it??? So people just imagine yourself in this situation and write down whatever comes to your mind. waiting for your views. Thanks :)

I think most people are hoping for this kind of blessing to come to them. This is what you call luck or as they say, you're at the right place at the right time. So if i come across with this big bag full of money, i would feel the greed in my mind that moment i touch, but what i would do is first look for the people around me who seems to be looking for something, then if nobody, i would keep. What would i do with the money? Give most of it to my family and what remains to me, is what i will put up to the bank. Thanks for the topic Much respect

I would have donated it to the temple or to the orphanage centres.

Maybe I read too many mystery novels but I can't help but think that if there is a bag full of money, it is either ransom money, black money, money from a robbery, or any other type of money that would get you hunted down by triads or gangsters. I guess if I found that bag, I'll just take it and run as fast as I can home and hope the bad guys don't find me.

If I find a big bag full of money on the road I will leave it there, because it can invite trouble. Even if I got a lot of money which I don't deserve, then I would donate it for scientific research, or to govt or to some charitable trust. The money which we haven't worked for cannot bring happiness to us.

Hi! Actually, I talked about a similar question with my boyfreind a few days ago! But if i found a big bag full of money, I might have no idea about what i would do with it at the very beginning! Because i definitely would think about the one who had lost it and he/she might be in big trouble, and i surely wanted to give the money back to him/her! But human beings are greedy, you know, so i would want to keep the money to myself and do whatever i want to do with it! I would want to give some of the money to my parents who spent so much time, energy and money on me! I would want to use the money to buy a big house, maybe with a swimming pool! maybe i will save it for the old age!So many choices!

First I'll look inside if there's a contact information of the owner then contact them to inform the lost bag. If there's no contact number I'll look into someone who is reliable to surrender the bag making sure that they will not own it. If still there's none, I get the bag and e-mail or contact the media that I found a bag full of money. If there's still no hope, and my only choice is to enjoy it, I'll send some to NGO's I prefer donating and tell them its from an anonymous donor. Then maybe I'll put up a foundation focusing on environment and education projects. I guess I'll reap what's mine in the end thru that project.

If i am sure that no one owns the bag... i think im gonna have to take it as my blessing... :D he he afterall i am sure God did want me to have it because out of all the people who may have found the bag - it is me that was able to get hold of the bag. In addition though, i would wait for someone to claim it say about a month, or so... and if there are prrofs that the owner is looking for the money, i think it would be ok to return it especially.

Being totally honest, I would take it home and be watching the news and reading the papers to see if it is reported anywhere. If it is just a plain bag thou my thoughts it was from something illegal anyways. I would put it to good use that is for sure, My son wouldnt have to worry about college, neither would any of my other older children if they wanted to go back to school. I would help out my parents and a few other relatives. I would open a program here in town for kids, as this town has nothing for kids to do. Bills would be paid without worry and I would finally get to go to the doctors. Hubby has always wanted to own and rent out apartments/homes so I would give him what he needed to do that. Some would go to the homeless and displaced workers. I would also love to open a book shop with a little coffee/tea shop in it. Something I would definitely do is buy hubby a new truck that I wouldnt have to worry about him driving! Man I could go on and on! LOL!

Firstly i would hope that nobody arrests me for taking that bagfull of money. If that is not the case, then i would like to spend somepart of the money shopping for the things that i want without considering the amount that i spend. 70% of the money i would like to invest in real estate, donate 10% for charity, and the remaining for the people who i know i could make their life easy if they had the money(those people could be anybody).

pilot, since it is a sunny day, I could begin treating everyone I meet to some dirty ice cream. This is some kind of Filipino ice cream that comes in 3 flavors, ube, cheese and vanilla, and placed in a push cart by a vendor. The dirty is actually a misnomer. The point is, when the money is not mine, but I do not know to whom to give it back, it must go to those who need it more. So, sacks of rice, food, books, clothing especially slippers, are the primary items I have to purchase. The secondary ones must be something like livelihood materials. I am not much fun, am I? Sorry. But an orphanage had been at the back of my mind for the longest time. I need money for the deprived.

It's always better to return the money to whom to belongs to. I'll try to find out the owner of the bag somehow. If any name or other sources are available in the bag then it is good else I'll take help of local police station to find out the owner of the bag as it must be better to return as soon as possible. The owner must be sad and disappointing after losing so much money. It's also a pleasure so see a happy face after returning the owner's property.

Hello! In first, I guess I see around me, just to make sure that is not a joke. Then I enter in catatonic state, and later I probably scream :P Now, in serious. I would pay off my debts (I got a lot: The house, the credit card, the telephone, and more... ). And I would really like finish my career, besides to buy a car of course. And the surplus, I would give to my mom, so she could live without working. I would be happy for the rest of my life!!!

If it really really belongs to no one and I wouldn't get in trouble for taking it, I would use it to pay for college tuitions and other necessities needed for my classes. Then buy a motorcycle along with a car. Most likely save the rest of the money after I buy all the electronics I want as well.

First of all, I'll check if its safe. (you never know!) Next, I'll check if there are hidden cameras or tv practical jokers. If the coast is clear, I'll take it home, watch news, if clear, then put it in a bank. Wait up for a year or so. Spend it wisely. Swriously though, if it really is clear and there are no ways to find it's owner, then I guess it's a blessing Then I too will bless others, spend some, bless others, invest, bless others and spend some more.

I would still look for the rightful owner and would even go to as far as going to tv stations to announce the bad i found... But i have to make sure it goes back to the owner himself/herself. I have to make the claimer identify the color and the style of the bag first. In the end if nobody claims it, I will have the luxury of spending the amount and donate some to charity......

Hello pavipilot Let's say it was in a brown paper bag, or a plastic bag, that couldn't be identified. First, I would listen to the news and see if there were any stories about missing money for a few days. If there were, depending on what the story was, I would consider turning it in. On the other hand, if I heard nothing about missing money, I would figure finders keepers...losers weepers. That may sound hard, but these are hard times. Now. I would NOT start spending money like crazy, and I would not put it in the bank. I would just use a little here and there, in unobtrusive ways. Like paying off credit cards slowly, buying things slowly, until I could come up with a way that I could have come into money that is believable and hard to verify. I would help my kids in many small ways, and give to some charities, but no large amounts at one time. I have found money and wallets and purses before, and I always gave it back to whoever lost it. But, under the circumstances you described, and with the conditions I added, I would keep it.

i've read a book (fiction) about people who found money in a crashed plane, and keeping the money wasn't a very good idea. it was stolen from a bank alright. and they ended up being too suspicious about people around them and they murdered some of them. so i guess i wouldn't keep it fr myself. i'll probably just bring it to a place for charity or something. i know this is a weird response but i think that's how it's going to be for me.
