by the next 10 months the earths heat is going to get increased by 40 degrees. the rate of oxygen will get decreased to a large extent. and it takes 38 trillion dollars to prepare oxygen for 6 months for all humans on earth where the plants give that for free through out our life. whom do u think will help us to survive on earth? whether the plants or dollars? please think a while and act... i'm not requesting u to plant trees, but please don't cut the existing trees and take out my oxygen. let me have my peaceful life on earth. i don't want to say to my next generation that "we get oxygen from trees where u r getting it artificially". this cutting is not because of any govt policies or illeterate people.it is just because of our wooden houses and wooden furniture. please avoid this. atleast reduce this.....

As far as I can see, the ONLY piece of accurate information in this is that trees produce oxygen. The rest of it is some kind of science fiction. Yes, average global temperatures have increased and are increasing still. However, between 1880 and 1980, the increase has been rather less than one tenth of a degree centigrade every ten years. We certainly need to monitor and reduce our production of carbon dioxide and to conserve and increase the growth of plant life. If we don't make things out of wood, however, we have to make them out of things which are more costly to produce in terms of carbon dioxide and produce far more pollution than cutting down a tree.

Here are a couple of pages from the National Geographic site which are likely to be more reliable than your email! http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/12/1206_041206_global_warming.html
