But to tell you the truth, the Germans were well and truly dominated by the Spanish. Spanish enjoyed more than 55% of the overall ball possession which is an amazing figure for a world cup semifinals. At one stage they had 67% of the ball possession. They passed the life out of the Germans and Puyol delivered the killer blow to finish them off!! Cheers! Ram

Paul the "octoportune teller" has done it again. he is such a very good fortuneteller. I think that the Germans will win 3rd place, while the Dutch team will win the World Cup and the Spanish will be relegated to the 2nd place.

edohusnull, Panzers, huh? Well, like Panzers the Germans just have to realize that these Panzers cannot go into the battle and would be "minced" with the modern and advanced weaponry of today. Panzers can only stay in the museum and be considered a relic for past historical victories. No offense, but that's what the Germans are. I am sorry but the facts are laid bare for all to see since the start of the tournament that the Germans cannot go far if Spain is going through and/or meet in a knockout match like the semis. If you had watched the match, the Germans were really humbled and just could not bring the game up. Germany did show their mettle and qualified for the semis deservingly however, they lack match championship experience. Just ask yourself or see the European championship results to see who lasted till the very crucial end and it sure wasn't the Germans. So, the Germans are actually "raw" going into the semis and I just do not see them really actually going into the Finals, even though they are my second favorite team of the tournament.

I predict Spanish would laugh last and German would win the second runner-up.

My prediction for the final is Spain 2-1 Holland(David Villa, Iniesta - Arjen Robben). For the third place match: Uruguay 1-3 Germany (D.Forlan - Schweinsteiger, Klose, T.Mueller). Spain has what it takes to win the final.
