what do you do when you can't sleep at night?

July 8, 2010 1:44am CST
I read a lot until sleep knocks me out. And when there's no chance to read because my room mates don't want even a drop of light, I listen to classical and most boring types of music. Sometimes, I watch tv in mute. Sometimes, I take a bath. How about you? How do you fight insomia?

It doesnt happen often for me but last night I could not get to sleep. I think I may have gotten 2 hours tops. Now I am tired and dragging thru the day.

i used to watch TV till the next morning.while it will disturb the others, i will start listen to the music or have something to eat.if i still can't sleep then grab some book and read it till i go to sleep.this is a bad habit indeed.do not follow mine.

Most of the time, I listen to country music to lull me to sleep. Sometimes, although I don't recommend you to do this just to fall asleep, I pray. Yes, as cheesy as it sounds but I pray. I just have a normal conversation with God, then before I know it, I'm already snoring. =)
