movies play a nice role in life. I love watching films especially bollywood movies which are famous for their romantic or comedy scenes. Since a child i have been watching them. movies is entertaining but good for education as well. I am saying this because i have realised that watching movies all these years, I am able to understand Hindi and speak Hindi language fluently though I am not an indian. So i can conclude that apart reading books, watching films any language does really help

I prefer to watch movies it they are highly recommended by friends, or if I like the characters in the movie. Yup, I think in some way you can learn a little from watching movies not only in language but the different cultures and customs of different countries. I also like to see the scenic views taken from different locations and hopefully someday I can visit those places.

I guess that I could say watching movies is a hobby of mine. I love them and I love discovering new movies and learning about old ones. I like knowing about the production and techniques of movie directors and a lot of my favorite movies are because of my fascination with the talents of the actors/directors/etc of the movie. That's really amazing you were able to learn a different language just by watching movies. Maybe I should try that, I do love Italian and French films so maybe I can learn by watching those films haha.

movies are an interesting hobby to obtain. movies are easier to comprehend and enjoy on an everyday basis. though you do learn from movies.you learn many lessons, morals, and beliefs that come within a movie. it isn't such a bad thing for movies to be a hobby. its a great way to relax

yes..watching movie is one of my hobbies.
Actually, there are a lot of benefits of watching movies or TV.
Movies can be a knowledgeable and powerful personal teachers to everyone of us. They can expose people to new cultures and places.
For children, they can learn vocabulary and improve their language that will help them in their studies.Besides that, we can learn prosocial skills like sharing,problem -solving and sensitivity to different cultures by watching the shows or movies.

Movie watching has has been a long time hobby of mine. i love to watch anything from old movie classics to sci- fi. to action packed, to romantic comedy to horror clasics. i love all kinds of movies for different reasons. It all depends on the mood I am in, but I do consider watching movies to be one of my greatest hobbies.

Yes,watching movies can help you to improve a language.I learnt slang from movies and tv shows.And yes,watching movies is a hobby for me and I have been doing it since I was a little kid.I also think you can learn lots of things from movies-you can learn facts that you didn't know before.But what movies really do for me is making me think about life,about people,feelings and just about the way I see the world.Yes,you can learn alot more if you read a book but movies can help you too if you area eager to learn something from them:)

Well, I also love to watch Bollywood movies and I have very much fond of watching Comedy, Romantic, Adventure, Action movies. I love to watch Hollywood action movies also. I watch movies but I can't say that it is my hobby. It is just a thing which I like to do. I watch movies only when I want some entertainment and hobby is different thing. Hobby is more than entertainment.

I used to run a movie theater so I guess my hobby was my job. i was great in that literally I could see every single movie that came out. Definitely watching Spanish language movies with my mon helped my spanish.

Well i love watching sci-fi movies only. Some movies which are very thoughtful and based on good subject and are innovative are also good to watch.
If one likes hindi movies then movies like 3 idiots and my name is khan are good movies which have been released in resent times.
I am a die heart sports follower and loving the ongoing fifa championship. Movies,sports and other things like this spice up our lifes.

I agree with you. Given your attitude in watching movies, there really are many benefits. It can be from inspiring to learning new words from other countries. It has somewhat extended my knowledge in the English language.

i watch movies...but just to while away my time...its not my hobby. If someone wants to watch i can give company...and if the movie is boring please dont expect me to stay awake....i have done this lots of times...i have slept during the movies and they yell at me..why do you waste money and sleep here...cant you sleep at home..
