carrots - wonderful sources of vitamins, minerals and fibers.
I would love to recommend the carrot, wonderful source of vitamin A, in juice or otherwise. The carrot is also a good source of other minerals like potassium, magnesium. Besides, carrots are very good sources of dietary fibers. Read more: http://healthmad.com/nutrition/six-colors-of-carrots-and-their-health-benefits/#ixzz0tIYDt41o

You either juice them or eat them raw in salads. I know what you are thinking. Well, processing may just destroy some of the health benefits.

I think any kind of veggie is good for u. I have heard all my life that carrots are good for your eyes but it's not true. I've eaten them all my life because i like them but i have terrible eyes.

the usual veggies recommended for eyesight improvement are those that are yellow-orange in color, as well as green leafy vegetables. such as yellow squash or pumpkin and carrots. there are locally grown veggies here such as "malunggay" and "saluyot" but I'm sure it's not available in other countries unless it's imported but I doubt anyone exports them here.

I was once told in the eye doctors office that broccoli was good for the eyes and to try to eat it often.

Does that work with those who are 20 years old and above. The body does absorbed the vitamins or minerals for that matter but sometimes i observed it does not use it like it use too when one is younger. Carrots and those veggies with Vitamin A are usually the ones who has a greater profit for the eyes.
