How to find a real friend?

I think friends have severl kinds. Some friends can speak with you and some friends can listen to you.Iam a Chinese.I want to make friends from other country.I will share my life with him.If you have same feeling and please tell me your happy and trouble things.

Be friendly and pleasant. Smiling will make you seem approachable to other people. Even if you don't agree with something that someone says, do not be rude about it. Hang out online! Even if you don't make a great friend, there are lots of wonderful people who would be happy to chat with you. You can get some experience building friendships and have fun along the way. i think we cannot "find" a real friend, unfortunately. but if there is one, or many, we won't miss. i had many (or should be several) "real friends", even few of them i considered as part of my life. but as i had some real trouble these years, i found that they were not really there for me. but i moved on. i am looking for new friends. i just said we cannot "find" real friends, but i guess if we open up ourselves, there are always someone out there for us.

I don't think we can predict whether someone we meet is going to be a true friend for life or otherwise. I think we find true friends by chance. I have very few friends that I can consider "true". . . others are just casual friends (people I wouldn't entirely trust especially with serious matters , and people I don't expect to help me if I were in need) . . . thing is I always remind myself to never let these special people in my life go. So I take care of them, and not take them for granted.

There is not much to add here from what others have said. Making true friends on line must be nearly impossible, since you don't really know who it is that you are. I think that the demands of ever busier lives mean that we make more acquaintances than friends.

A real friend is the one there with you through bad times and in good times. He's someone who will not leave you no matter what. You should know him very well.

I have alot of friends that i only get to chat to online as they live too far away,i also have friends that i see a few times during the week aswell as chat to them online at all other times.I have alot of people that i am friendly with on some of the sites that i belong to and i do chat to them alot.There are alot of clubs aswell as alot of groups that you can join that you get to meet new people aswell as make friends which is great if you are able to get to the clubs and groups.
