Is it normal to listen to music all the time?

Am I the only one who listens to music literally all the time? I listen to music when I'm on the bus, I listen to it while i'm taking a shower, while i'm online, while im going to sleep, and pretty much every aspect of my life, even in school sometimes. I notice a lot of my friends don't do this. I'm just wondering if its strange for me to do this or am I not the only one?

Not only is it normal, it's healthy! I find things are not right with me if I go too long without listening to any music. Even if I have a job working outside home someplace, things go better if I can have some music.

there are really some people who are like you also. i think thats normal, but the disadvantage on that if you're using a headset and thats the time that its not advisable because it can cause deafness. i dont know if its true or not. but just minimize it maybe.

I see it almost everywhere here all the time. People even listen to music while jogging, cycling etc... It's normal as you are. The only thing of concern is to be extra alert when you are on the road. Better to be safe...

Listening to music is healthy, it has a way of uplifting the mind, body and soul. Ever go into a grocery store and hear music and feel so enlightened by it that the shopping experience is very pleasant. I read this somewhere a long time ago where researchers say that music in a retail store prompts the buyer to spend more. I too love music all the time, no matter how blue I am feeling regarding life circumstances I could really get into the rhythm of music and momentarily forget my troubles. In fact when music is not playing I can hum all the time to beats.

You are not the only one. :-) I love to listen to music and every mood I have , i got a particular genre to play with it. When Iwas working in the office, Iplayed music in my computer. It perks me up and inspire me.I stay home now so I can listen to music as much as I want. However, if my hubby is here , it is his choice of music that fills the house.lol Given every possible chance, I would listen to music provided it is my choice of music. That is jazz and blues.

There's nothing wrong with it. I used to do the same thing before but it was minimized when I became a wife and a mother and started working. It will be considered not normal anymore if it's affecting your life and relationship with other people specially those close to you. If that's the case then I'd say it's no longer normal.

It's nice to hear music especially when you are sad and totally depress. Just like me i have to listen those inspirational music because it helps me to cheer up my almost dying emotion. So, i guess there is nothing wrong to listen music when it is not to much.

I don't think its weird or abnormal to listen to music all the time. I know some friends that enjoy listening to music all the time. I guess I would be okay with it as long as it doesn't affect your life in a negative way. I am one of those people that don't have to listen to music 24/7. But it is a nice way to relax and soothe the body.

There is nothing wrong with listening to music constantly. Music is soothing for so many occasions. It helps us relax. It helps us have fun. It helps us grieve. It assists us in times where we need help the most. The power of music is incredible and it is so versatile for what you're able to use it for. I love music and I couldn't imagine my life without it.

You are such a music lover I guess. i listen too music too, but not during sleep and not during shower. When I'm browsing the net or when doing some of my works I have to listen to music to keep me awake and uplift my spirit.
