Help finding a scammer please.

Ok as some of you are aware, I lost my ebay account due to naively selling electronics on behalf of someone & lost my ebay account because of it...well haven't really lost but can't use until I pay ebay back & have to get my feedback rating high again...I also have to pay back moneybookers too as they refunded money that I had forwarded to the scammer for products bought but were never sent...All I have is the person's user name for freelance sites & their email, moneybookers email & the name (not sure if it's real or not)...how can I find contact details for this person or report them? (I'm in Australia & this person told me they are in the mid-west US)...Who do I report them to? The FBI? The Australian authorities? Once I start getting more financial on & offline earnings, I want to start paying back moneybookers & ebay the debt she has left me in with them but because she SCAMMED me, I think she is entitled to pay at least half of the debt I'm in (me the other half for being stupidly naive). Please help.

you can try the fbi here in the states, or if you know thier location of the person then get in touch with that local police department. you also can try the better business bruea (spelled that wrong)
any information you may on the person pass that onto to who ever. they'll be able to get information on them. should anyways.
i know here in the us they dont play with that stuff. but if got their location or anything drop me a message with it, and since i am in the state see if i can help you out.

Thanks for your offer...I will have to see if she mentioned which state she said she lived in one of her emails...I have a name, user id for places like GAF & a web address where she had her online store (it has since disappeared)...I'll let you know once I've had a look. Thank you :)

It is hard in america because the scammers on the internet can just put whatever they want. You could send the information to the USA FBI if you want, on the remote possiblity that she is really in the US. Other than that, there is not a whole that can be done, as different countries has different laws.

This is true...this is why I thought I would ask here as there are quite a few Americans on here....maybe I should try the Australian police first.
