although its part of the african culture, many people and the players were irritated very much due the annoying noise of vuvuzela. In this worldcup the vuvzela made many problems it made fifa to think about ban the vuvuzelas. but the high dB sound producing vuvuzela were unstopable in this worldcup, and i hope that its now ended. i dont know how many will carry these vuvuzelas to upcoming football matches? but i dont think that upcoming match will have the serious effect of vuvuzela as the worldcup fever is ended.

For me I loved the vuvuzelas. I think each country that hosts a mega event like this has to bring something unique and the South Africans brought in Vuvuzela. You say most of them were irritated, check out the finals which did not have more than 5% South Africans in the stadiums and still the Vuvuzelas were blaring in the hands of the Spanish and the Dutch fans!! I think it was a wonderful success and now that the tournament is over, I can catch on with my sleep :) Cheers! Ram

Perfect peace to watch the football from now on, I hope. But the effects of the vuvuzela will live on, especially when the travelling supporters return home with there gifts from the world cup. It was all just abit of fun, and we will all certainly remember the South African World Cup because of them.

Yes, thank god for this! I hope people will forget about this instrument now, and that I won't have to hear the sound of it again. Seriously!
