There was a bigg riddles that whether the Chicken or the Egg came first in this earth. I know now you would be laughing for a while after reading this question? such a topic it was?. But if you see many of the scientist have already were done some research and have a uncovered partial answer to the age old question, saying that "Chicken" or atleast a particular chicken protien. However there is a twist and we couldn't find the correct answer to it. Do anyone of you the answer to this twist ;-), If so share your logical thoughts and make it clear to everyone.. LOL..!

YOU HAVE NOT SPECIFIED THAT IT IS A CHICKEN EGG OR NORMAL EGG SO MY ANSWER IS "EGG" because not anywhere does not say its a chicken egg,its just an egg it can come from anywhere...... Personally, I don't care which came first. Both are delicious. hehehe...he :)

This question has been raised for years without an exact response. But according to what we see the chicken is in front and the egg is layed at the back, so we say chicken came first then the egg......this is what I can denote. I don't know what the scientists have discovered or haven't been yet...they will never get an exact answer.

someone told me about this riddle before and we just thought that was just a funny riddle.the friend of mine asked;which came first?the chicken or the egg?so most of us said that it is the egg.there is no way for the chicken to come out first without the egg.but he said the answer is 'chicken' because he mentioned that word first followed by the 'egg' word.i didn't thought that was a fact behind it till you mentioned it jjstare!and i really do not have an idea on it.hehe..

LOL! this is cute. Me, I always confuse myself about this case he!he! he! for the answer is the chicken because how will you have egg without the chicken and how the chicken quaking a quack word if they don't lay egg.

haha, this is an old question, and it has a simple answer. I read the book somewhere about this topic. According to the Creator of chickens, and the author of the Record of their origins, chicken came first. It was on the Fifth Day of Creation Week that we created "every winged fowl after kind" complete with the DNA to reproduce that kind. Then He "blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply" using that DNA. For the chickens this meant lay chicken eggs.

The chicken defenetly came first. It came to the Earth pregnated and reprodoosed with it's own offspring.

well the study says that a protein from a chickens ovaries is needed to create the egg shell. BUT. Chickens are not the only egg laying animal. and Dinosaurs were around laying eggs before chickens existed. so these scientists need to focus on the bigger picture. just because only a chicken can lay a chicken egg doesn't mean that eggs weren't around before chickens.

WHO CARES?? I think that is a silly thing to start a discussion over. It's really been overdone.

Hello Well, ite not a topic of laugh to me..as its true, it has been a debate for such a long that what came first " the Chicken or The Egg"...But, as you said..Today me too read the news that some scientists have discovered that it was Chicken ..rather should be chicken first....And, So, I believe..or rathre feel now there is no option left ( atleast till the time some counter research reveal something else ) I don't know, if I was able to be logical, but still replied. Good Luck

They believe that the Chicken came first because of a protein required from the chicken to create the egg. But by the scientific concept of evolution, whatever the chicken originally was could have just as easily laid the egg first and then what we know of as the chicken was born out of it. Their question is how the chicken came to be in the first place, but if they'd actually think and use their own prior theories, it seems pretty obvious what their answer to that should be and that their "discovery" that they've made about the chicken coming first is inaccurate. And on another note, I'm glad that scientists are spending time working on THIS which is completely irrelevant rather than working on curing diseases. _

Well the egg must have come first because of evolution. An animal that was similar to a chicken but due to the fact that it hadn't evolved as much it was technically not a chicken. It laid an egg that hatched into a chicken due to specific "chicken-like traits" being passed on thus making it a chicken and that trait was successful, creating more chickens because the trait helped it survive/breed. So the definite answer is egg.

That's a great question... I think it was the eggs.

The egg because the chicken could not be born, therefore the egg could not be produced by any living animal either therefore nothink
