There are some nights that I just can't get to sleep no matter how hard...

I try. I've heard it said that the harder you try, the longer it takes to fall asleep, and I think that's true. So, I might just lay there, or listen to the radio, or try to regulate my breathing, or get up and read. What do you do when you can't sleep? Do you have a method that works? If you do, please share!!!!!

I too have this problem now I can't fall asleep. It is no matter Does I go sleep about 12:00pm or 2:00pm I can't fall asleep. The problem is in my mind, because my schedule is mixed. I go sleep very late and wake up very late. I need to do something in this field. I know that more easily is fall asleep when outside is raining. Some people say you need to wash face with cold water and It would be more easier to sleep. And yes If you are hardworking you will like... Take care, Have a nice day!

Yes, it doesn't matter what time I go to bed...still can't fall asleep sometimes. Rain is white noice, which, I hear, is very restful

I have that problem aswell.I find that if i go to bed too early then i can not get to sleep as all that happens is i keep tossing and turning and it seems to take forever to get off to sleep.I find that when i do get off to sleep all i seem todo is wake up aswell as it is soon time to get up.I tend to come on here until i am really tired, then take a pain killer or two then try to sleep.

Ji jugs...yea, I hear you. I never go to bed early just for that reason. I do try, though, not to take anything, since I already take a lot of medications, but thanks for sharing.

This happens to me too. I try the same things. I also have tried lavender spray for my sheets. Most times I have to get up for a little while and then try again. I am usually exhausted the next day. It seems on those nights I fall asleep close to the time I am arriving.

I have periods like this too, where it is really difficult to geet off to sleep. Usually I go and sit out in the living room and read something or play games on my phone until I get tired and then fall asleep on the sofa.

I also have this thing but its very less in case of mine,i don't try hard to sleep because the more hard you would try to sleep the more chances are that you would be unable to sleep. So its good that you follow those techniques and regulate your breathing and listen to radio because it really refreshes and diverts our mind from the problems of our day to day life and we could have a good night sleep.

First have a constant time to go to sleep, second you can try working out before you go to bed, so you have less energy, and try to go to sleep on a good note (Ex: don't argue,be mad at something, ect. this will keep you up for a long time, but if you go to bed happy and not stressed out you'll go to bed a lot faster. Hope this helps : )!

I do pretty much go to bed the same time each night, although sometimes I stay up later to try to get tired enough to sleep. I rarely go to bed upset or angry, so I will try thinking happy thoughts. Thanks for your suggetions.
